A little glitter.
A longing.
A lot of feeling.
We’re Gefea, a Swedish virtual pop group with five voices and a shared weakness for a good chorus.
Gabriel, Elin, Freya, Elias and Alma. We make dancepop and disco, with a little Nordic melancholy sneaking in round the edges. We write about love, courage and finding our people. Sometimes we just want everybody to dance.
We’re based in Stockholm and sing in English. We write together and occasionally disagree about a single note for much longer than is sensible.
HOW WE FOUND EACH OTHER
One session.
Then another.
We thought we’d booked one evening in a studio. A few harmonies, another session, and suddenly we were making room for each other.
